Maltaflor Seed-o-gran PLUS is a finely granulated Slow release fertiliser, which was specially developed for the care of existing and heavily used lawns. Whether on football pitches, golf courses or prestigious green areas - the combination of nutrients is optimised for the Turf growth requirements and ensures a rapid initial effect and lasting vitality.
Properties of the fertiliser
Seed-o-gran PLUS combined organic substance (70 %) with mineral components. The fertiliser contains all the important nutrients and therefore a balanced supply of nutrients for a healthy lawn:
- Nitrogen (N): accelerates growth and improves green colouring.
- Phosphate (P₂O₅): supports root formation and strengthens the plant.
- Potassium oxide (K₂O): strengthens the resilience and makes the lawn more resistant.
Application & dosage
The application depends on the Intensity of use of the lawns. The slow-release fertiliser is suitable for reseeding and maintenance; short irrigation loosens the granules and distributes them evenly:
- Intensively maintained lawns: 50-100 g/m², 3× per year, e.g. football pitches, golf greens
- Normally used lawns: 30-80 g/m², twice a year, e.g. fairways, representative lawns
- New seedings: 60-100 g/m² directly before fine levelling
