Instructions for the application and storage of sedum sprouts:
The sedum sprouts can be planted from April to September, depending on the weather, most favourably in spring and late summer. Very hot weather in midsummer is unfavourable and should be avoided at all costs.
The sprouts are scattered by hand, approx. 60g - 100g per m2.
It should be noted that they require good contact with the roof substrate in order to stimulate root formation and good rooting. This can be encouraged by lightly rolling or covering with a thin layer of substrate. A sufficient supply of water is required during the growth phase of approx. 4-8 days. Rapid growth begins after approx. 14 days.
Sedum sprouts should always be planted as soon as possible after delivery in order to avoid possible losses and deterioration in quality. Storage for a few days is possible under the following conditions: cool (possibly cold store, refrigerator), dry, shady. If storing for longer than 1 day, remove the sprouts from the bags or ensure that there is sufficient air so that the sprouts can breathe. If necessary, cover with a slightly damp cloth.
