Sedumin Huminsect pellets

Nutrient & humus optimisation based on humic acid and insect humus

Sedumin Huminsect pellets combine natural, highly concentrated humic and fulvic acids from leonardite with pure insect humus to create a universally applicable concept for humus build-up and nutrient optimisation. The soil additive and fertiliser mix is suitable for numerous crops in arable and grassland farming, for special crops and as a high-quality additive in substrates and in organic or organic-mineral mixed fertilisers.

Properties

  • Humus & nutrient optimiser based on humic acids/fulvic acids and insect humus
  • Raw material mix of Leonardite and insect humus for a broad spectrum of action in the soil
  • Supported Humus build-up and promotes an active, stable soil biology
  • Improves nutrient availability through buffering and binding in the soil (less leaching, better efficiency)
  • Strengthens soil structure & soil health, can support the rooting and vitality of plants
  • As Aggregate Suitable for substrates and organic or organic-mineral mixtures

Application & dosage

  • Areas of application: Arable land and grassland, special crops; can also be used in the substrate area
  • Application Depending on the crop & objective: build up humus, activate the soil, improve nutrient efficiency
  • Application: Spread evenly with standard, suitable fertiliser spreaders
  • Time slot: during the vegetation period or as required (e.g. for maintenance/reconstruction measures)
  • Principle of action: organically bound nutrients gradually become available via microbial processes
  • Storage/handling: Store dry, cool and protected from direct sunlight; close opened containers tightly

Advantages

The combination of Leonardite and insect humus promotes rapid and sustainable humus build-up, increases nutrient efficiency and improves soil health. Leonardite acts as a „booster“ for organic and mineral fertilisers, supports better utilisation of NPK formulations and can counteract soil salinisation, allowing degraded areas to be recultivated and soil fertility to be restored. With its multi-nutrient properties and chitin components, insect humus helps to maintain healthy plants and vital crops. Overall, Sedumin Huminsect enables more efficient use of the fertiliser quantities used and opens up potential for significant yield increases without having to increase the application rates of conventional fertilisers.

Background knowledge on the type of fertiliser

Humic acids and fulvic acids improve the cation exchange capacity of the soil and bind nutrients in plant-available forms. This increases the efficiency of nitrogen fertiliser, phosphorus fertiliser and potassium fertiliser and reduces losses. Insect humus provides organic matter for microbial decomposition; this creates a lasting long-term fertiliser effect because nutrients are released gradually. At the same time, humus stabilises the soil structure, promotes water retention and creates favourable conditions for active soil life. These basic mechanisms of action explain why products containing humic acid in substrates and on arable and green areas improve nutrient utilisation and support the development of resistant, vital root spaces.
