Sedumin water storage and drainage mats

are ideal for green roof systems, e.g. for Flat roofs
and for use in flower troughs and plant beds. (there are additional drainage slots on the underside for optimum water drainage)

Sedum mat for flower beds

Sedumin water storage and drainage mats are primarily used for Green roofs used.

But also for Flower troughs and Plant beds the storage mat is often used.
One m2 can store up to 18 litres of water.
The integrated Maltaflor malt sprout slow-release fertiliser helps the plants to take root.

Advantages
  • High water storage only through water retention - no water build-up if the flower boxes are watered excessively or in heavy rain. Excess water can drain away and the flowers get none so-called "wet feet"
  • Good nutrient supply for the plants thanks to the built-in Maltaflor malt sprout slow-release fertiliser
  • is a recycled product and consists of CFC-free, plant-compatible foam waste that is bound without chemical agents
  • Wide range of applications, as the format is customised
  • Can be reused over several years
Application

Cut the SEDUMIN water storage mat to the desired size and install it at a depth of approx. 8 - 15 cm in the planters or plant beds under the substrate soil.
The SEDUMIN storage mat can also be used in several layers. If used for several years, it should be fertilised accordingly.
